Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Linkamoon. By registering, you represent that you are 18 or older, that you have full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and that your use of the Service is lawful in your jurisdiction.

We do not knowingly allow minors on the platform and will permanently delete any account we discover to belong to a person under 18. If you suspect a minor is using the Service, please contact [email protected].

2. Your account

You are responsible for everything that happens on your account. Keep your one-time codes private — anyone with access to your verified phone number or email can sign in.

One person may hold only one account. You may not impersonate another person, create an account on someone else's behalf, or use false information.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse other users.
• Post nudity, sexually explicit content, hate speech, or content that promotes self-harm, violence, or terrorism.
• Solicit money, donations, or run any commercial activity through Linkamoon.
• Upload photos that are not of you, photos of minors, or anyone's image without their consent.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service, or use it to train machine-learning models without our written consent.
• Bypass safety features, including the 18+ check, rate limits, blocks, or moderation systems.
• Use the Service in violation of applicable laws, including those of the United Arab Emirates and your local jurisdiction.

4. Verification & moderation

Linkamoon verifies users via phone or email one-time codes and may require photo verification. We may review reported content and accounts using a combination of automated tools and human moderators, and may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that violates these Terms, with or without prior notice.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Linkamoon Plus and Gold are paid subscriptions billed in Euro (EUR) through Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. AED reference amounts are shown for convenience at a rate of 1 EUR = 4.32 AED; the binding charge is the EUR amount displayed at checkout.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account; your benefits continue until the end of the paid period.

Where required by EU consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from a subscription within 14 days of purchase, except where you have begun consuming paid features (e.g. used a Boost or revealed who liked you), in which case the right of withdrawal does not apply to the consumed portion. Refunds outside this window are at our discretion and follow Stripe's processing rules.

6. Content you post

You retain ownership of the photos, text, and other content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content within the Service for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving Linkamoon. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where retention is required by law or for fraud-prevention purposes.

7. No guarantees about other users

We perform basic verification (phone/email and, where applicable, photo) but we do not run background checks, criminal records checks, or identity-document checks on every user. You interact with other users at your own risk. Always meet in public, tell a friend where you are going, and trust your instincts.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, whether express or implied, including fitness for purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profit, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud).

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from in-app Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, that pose a risk to other users, or that we are required to remove by law. Termination does not relieve you of obligations accrued before termination.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app and on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Sharjah have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer-protection laws in your country of residence grant you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
